8 — Draw Distance
An early real-time landscape in flat-shaded polygons, a hard wall of fog closing the horizon exactly where the geometry stops.
The fog was never weather. It was the edge of what the machine could draw, and a whole generation learned to read it as distance. Every triangle edge stays visible, the textures stay frankly blocky, and the seams of the mesh are the subject rather than something to hide.
