3 — Pulled Tape
A cassette on a black mirror, a long ribbon of magnetic tape pulled out and looping upward like a single brushstroke.
Everyone who owned a tape deck saw this accident once: the machine bites, and the recording comes out as a ribbon. Shown as calligraphy rather than as damage — the oxide catches light along every twist, the four corners stay pure black, the label area left completely unmarked.
